SHP Officer Briefing 2025

(16/01/25) BPS Tual City held an intensive briefing for the 2025 Producer Price Survey officers. In this session, the head of BPS Tual City, one teacher, and four survey officers gathered enthusiastically to prepare a survey that is crucial for mapping producer price conditions in this region.

The SHP which is conducted monthly has an important role in the formation of the Producer Price Index (IHP). The Producer Price Index (IHP) is one of the data produced by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). IHP can be used as an early warning system for price fluctuations at the next level by data users. This is because the formation of the price of a good or service first starts at the producer level.

The officers are equipped with a deep understanding so that they can carry out field duties effectively, producing relevant and useful data. With this collective effort, BPS Tual City is committed to continuing to support the producer price index through accurate and reliable data.
