Tual Police Corn Harvest Festival

In order to support the Food Security Program of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, BPS Tual City attended the Tual Police Corn Harvest event held at the Tual Police Garden, Tuesday (13/5). Also present at the event were the Tual Police Chief, AKPB Adrian S.Y. Tuuk, S.I.K, M.H., Mayor of Tual, Hi. A. Yani Renuat, S.Sos., M.Si., M.H. and Deputy Mayor of Tual Hi. Amir Rumra, S.Pi., M.Si., Chairperson of the Tual City DPRD, Hj. Aisyah Renhoat, S.Pd., as well as the ranks of Forkopimda and related agencies in the Tual City area. In his remarks, the Mayor of Tual welcomed and appreciated the efforts of the Tual Police to become a pioneer in harvesting corn in dry form as an effort to improve the economic level of the Tual City community. In addition, the Deputy Chief of Tual Police, Kompol Teddy, S.H., S.I.K. felt very happy and touched because the corn planting project was a success after hard work by the Tual Police and the Tual City Agriculture Service. The harvest carried out on 1 hectare of land can produce dry corn with an estimated 3.5 tons with a water content of 14%. This harvest event is expected to arouse the interest of the Tual City community to produce dry corn and can improve the economic level of the community in the Tual City area.
