Room occupancy rate (TPK) of star hotels in Maluku in April 2018 reached 44.07 percent or increased 5.52 points compared to March 2018. Similarly, when compared to the April 2011 Round of April 2017 which was recorded at 41.49 percent, the star hotel TPK in Maluku experienced an increase of 2.58 points.

Non-star hotel occupancy rate (TPK) of non-star hotels in Maluku in April 2018 reached 21.77 percent or an increase of 2.73 points compared to March 2018. When compared to April 2017 (21.93 percent), non-star hotels TPK in Maluku decreased 0.16 points.The number of foreign guests staying at star-rated hotels in Maluku during April 2018 was 669, an increase of 4.04 percent compared to March 2018. Domestic guests totaled 11,044 people, up 6.72 percent compared to March 2018.
