Abstract

In May 2020 from 90 CPI Cities in Indonesia, 67 cities experienced inflation and 23 cities experienced deflation.
The Tual Municipality experienced inflation of 0.65 percent with a CPI of 105.33 and Ambon Municipality experienced inflation of 0.21 percent with CPI of 105.66. National inflation of 0.07 percent with CPI 104.87.
The highest inflation occurred in Tanjung Pandan, Belitung Regency by 1.20 percent with CPI 104.57 and the lowest inflation occurred in Tanjung Pinang Municipality, Bogor Municipality, and Madiun Municipality by 0.01 percent with each CPI of 102.62; 105.94; and 103.20. Meanwhile, the highest deflation occurred in Luwuk, Banggai Regency by 0.39 percent with CPI 106.41 and the lowest occurred in Manado Municipality by 0.01 percent with CPI 104.63.
Of the 90 CPI Cities in Indonesia, Tual Municipality CPI in May 2020 was ranked 21st and Ambon Municipality was ranked 15th. Tual Municipality monthly inflation was ranked 8th Ambon Municipality was ranked 38th.
