In August 2024 there was year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Tual City of 1.64 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.71.
Y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases indicated by the increase in five expenditure group indices, namely: food, beverage and tobacco group by 3.39 percent; health group by 0.84 percent; transportation group by 1.84 percent; food and beverage / restaurant supply group by 4.21 percent; and personal care and other services group by 1.45 percent.
The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate of Tual City in August 2024 amounted to 0.47 percent.
Year to date inflation rate (y-to-d) of Tual City in August 2024 amounted to 1.30 percent.
