Abstract

May 2025 Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Tual City was 0.81 percent.
In May 2025, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Tual City was 0.81 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 109.81.
The y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases indicated by the increase in eight expenditure group indices, namely: clothing and footwear group by 0.90 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 7.18 percent; household equipment, tools, and routine maintenance group by 4.00 percent; health group by 14.37 percent; information, communication, and financial services group by 0.19 percent; education group by 0.08 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 0.71; and personal care and other services group by 3.01 percent.
The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate in Tual City in May 2025 was 1.48 percent.
The year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate in Tual City in May 2025 was 3.11 percent.
