Abstract

The Agricultural Census is an effort to accurately and comprehensively capture the state of the agricultural sector across the country. This publication of the Complete Enumeration Results of the 2023 Agricultural Census - Phase I is the result of the 2023 Agricultural Census field data collection. In the first stage, the Central Bureau of Statistics presents priority data and information from the 2023 Agricultural Census. While more complete data and information will be presented in the publication of the Complete Enumeration Results of the 2023 Agricultural Census. Agriculture Census 2023 - Phase II.This publication contains information on the general explanation of the 2023 Agricultural Census, agricultural business households and agricultural business classifications, demographics of agricultural business managers, agricultural land and fertilizer use, smallholders, millennial farmers and urban farming, and agricultural commodities. The data and information presented are expected to be not just numbers, but an in-depth and holistic foundation for designing agricultural sector transformation policies towards a Golden Indonesia 2045. The implementation of the 2023 Agricultural Census would not have been possible without the great contribution of farmers, related Ministries/Institutions, and all parties involved. We would like to express our deepest gratitude for the active participation and extraordinary cooperation from all levels of society.Hopefully, this publication can become a strong foundation for the development of agriculture that is competitive, sustainable, and provides maximum benefits to society.
